Back to Southampton at sea

Day 14   At Sea    Sunday, Sept 24, 2017

The only photo I got on our final day at sea was when I took their special helicopter flight. Har har. With no photos that day, I stole this one.

We slept in, relaxed in the Spinnaker Lounge, uploaded my photos and edited them, enjoyed the final theater show of "comedy and trickery," and found the scotch we liked most - Glenmorangie.

We had one last opportunity to enjoy Randon, the guitarist who by now had a HUGE fan club. We all sang along, as always, but were a bit sad it would be our final night with him. We had gotten to know other of his regular fans, chatting with them during the singer's breaks. He thanked us all for making him "a star." He kept saying he was singing his final song, but the crowd kept shouting for more and he kept delivering. When he was truly done, his standing ovation went on and on. Many, including Janet, gave him a tip and thanked him for giving us so much entertainment and fun.

I really don't recall too many other specifics from our final day, but I know we enjoyed the down time and the usual food and drink and luxury. We had to pack and decide what to throw away, and have our suitcases in the hallway by 10:00 pm. Now, the next morning we would be off on a new adventure in London and with David and Hilary Richardson in Croyden.
